Parents and Citizens’ Association
The Parents and Citizens Association is a vital link for
parents to:
- gain information on the school’s day to day activities,
- discuss current educational issues,
- plan fundraising to assist and support the school
financially,
- provide a forum to which all parents can contribute and
- provide information and reactions to issues for
discussion at the Schools Working Group meetings.

All parents are welcome and urged to attend.
The P&C undertakes a variety of fundraising activities to
support staff and students, and is an important forum for
parents to discuss school issues. A P&C representative is a
standard inclusion on panels to select new executive staff.
The P&C also oversees the operation of the school canteen and
the uniforms.
Meetings of the P&C are held on the
first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Library.
Meetings usually last 2 hours, and all parents and carers are
welcome to attend. The P&C can be contacted via the
President, the Principal or the school office.
The School's Working Group
consists of:
- The Principal.
- A community member
- The P & C President
- A staff member
- A P&C Executive Member
The working Group oversees the administrative and financial
operation of the school and makes recommendations upon which the
Principal may act. The meetings are open to all parents but only
the members have voting rights.
